So we wanted our money back and decided to go else where. There weren’t any good seats left even 30 min before the movie.

Great spot for a date night, because right after the movie there’s about five bars and restaurants within thirty-feet of the front doors.

The sound was fantastic and the screen was huge! Plus all of the babies were quietly cuddled up in the soundproof baby room. I saw Star Wars while I was here and it was amazing.
I’m not sure if cheeseburger sliders and jalapeño snacks are the «norm» in movie theaters, because I usually go cheap when I hit the theater, unless there’s alcohol being served, but unfortunately they don’t serve the good stuff here. The food options are here pretty decent, hot dogs, nachos, sliders, jalapeño poppers and sweet treats as far as the eye can see. Wait, what? Yeah, small, but handy tables are attached to every chair in theater, sort of like fancy airplane seating. Very clean and fully equipped with stadium seating, tons of food options, and little mini tables at every chair. This is a new movie theater from what I was told and it looks like it. He stopped whatever it was he was doing just to personally show me to the room and was very kind in the process! So overall, the Crying Room/theater was clean, the staff was very kind and helpful, and I would recommend this theater over the others any day! I stopped a random employee, who might have been a manger, to help me find the room. Fast forward to buying the tickets (fast and efficient), a young man helped my sister to the room while I bought popcorn, etc. After a short hold, a young man (Luke I think was his name) not only helped me figure out that only certain theaters had a Crying Room (which therefore determined our movie to see), but also allowed me to go straight to the help desk to purchase our tickets because there is currently no option to use a gift card online. While the recorded phone message was too fast and kind of unintelligible, I eventually found the direct phone number to the theater. So I went online to the Maya Cinema website to pre-order our tickets and check if they had a quiet room. I wanted to take my sister to see a movie to get out of the house, which is usually difficult what with a new baby and all. Absolutely awesome! I’ve been here a few times before (service, cleanliness, and movie quality all great) but after my visit tonight, it is now my favorite theatre in Fresno.
